Course Description
This
2-day course provides the essential topics in ISPS internal audit,
specifically; the principles, guidelines, tools, and effective techniques for
auditing. It makes use of simulated audit scenarios, enabling the
participants to apply the theoretical and practical requirements for internal
audit. Participants will act either as auditor or as auditee for exercises,
and will change roles to allow each a turn in audit presentation.
This
course is intended for designated ship and shore-based staff requiring an
understanding of the application of the ISPS Code for auditing purposes. This
course meets the requirements for continuous professional development.
