Gas Measurement (Tank Atmosphere Evaluation)
Course Description
This2-day
course covers the theoretical and practical applications of different gas
measuring equipment such as Oxygen Analyzer, Interferometer, Combustible Gas
Indicators, and Dragger Tubes. The participants undergo theoretical gas
measurements, taking into consideration the capabilities and limitations of
the different gas measuring equipment. It fulfills the mandatory minimum
training and qualifications required by Section A-V/1 for masters,
officers and ratings of tankers.
This
course is open to all deck, engine and petty officers such as bosun, fitter
and other crew involved in safety operations.
