Course Description

This 2-day course has been created to provide participants with sufficient knowledge of the correct procedures in the cargo handling operation of a bulk carrier. It focuses on informing the trainees on how bulk carriers operate and the inherent hazards that exist on board. It also emphasizes the importance of proper communication during cargo operation.

This course is open to deck and other seafarers intending to board bulk carrier vessels.
